I'll admit I was skeptical to take my car here after reading all these negative reviews online, but the location is fantastic and really close to where I work. So, I took a chance and called first thing Saturday morning to drop my car off that morning around 9am. I spoke with Isaac on the phone who was very professional and when I went into the location, Marty checked in my car was helpful, nice and answered all of my questions. I let them know that I had a slow leak in my front tire, my car needed its emission and inspection, and an oil change and that I needed this all done by 1pm when I got off of work. Everyone there was so nice, when I called to check on the progress about 2 hours later, they said everything was complete and the cost was so much less than I expected! They even gave me a Pep Boys rewards card to use that day and in the future for savings and discounts. I will definitely be returning to this location. Thank you Marty and Isaac and the team at Pep Boys in Whitehall for the great service!

If they had lower than one I would rate it at -10..
I had to stand in front of a line of seven people to nitpick on their pricing of my final bill..
And I did speak to the mechanic that worked on my vehicle.
I asked for an estimate for a good tune-up
Now telling me that means plugs cap rotor PVC valve air filter the whole nine yards you said about 129 bucks..
The mechanic looked at the work order and said tune up they threw them a $13 pack of 8 spark plugs and said just throw these in $113 in labor to put 8 stinking spark plugs in..
I told the service manager do I need to go over the parts counter now and get all the stuff I need for a tune-up he said no everything is fine they overcharged me on my shock insulation that I bought there and then try to charge me again for the shocks already purchased that place is so disorganized everybody wants to blame the other one but I tell you what I work a lot of hours and don't have the time to do it but I figured I would do it and guess what they really bent me over backwards I would definitely not ever recommend this place for any type of service

The cost and maintenance of a car often overwhelms me and I usually go to the same mechanic every time but found out I was overpaying on the services I needed. I was in the area of my local Pep Boys and stopped in to make an appointment for my inspection. At around 52,000 miles I was anticipating replacement maintenance on tires, brakes, etc...i was given an estimate of a little over $900. I was extremely impressed with the service I received here. Marty, who worked the counter, called me several times while my car was being inspected to inform me of exactly what my car did/didn't need. He was very patient and informative with all of my questions and concerns and when my final bill came to $213 with an additional $50 rebate on my brakes....Im definitely going back for future maintenance.  Thank you very much Marty.

Terrible experience.  Waited 4 1/2 hours to get four new tires and an alignment on my vehicle.  I was told by the Manager it would take an hour and a half or so at most upon arrival.  Had no problem waiting for my vehicle in that time frame, as I expected it to take between 1-2 hours but would have gladly dropped it off if I would have known it would have taken that long.  Staff didn't seem to care at all to give any status update.  I asked twice for an update while I was waiting but was told it would be finished soon.  Last time I ever come here.

Its Pep Boys ... An auto store.
No complaints and nothing out of the ordinary... It was all good.
