I recently had an experience with Pep Boys that I wasn't too happy about. Sunday morning I called to see how much it would be to replace the low beam headlight in my 2012 Chevrolet Malibu (light and labor included). The representative Kate (or something with a "K") informed me that it would be $73 to have it replaced. That afternoon I brought my vehicle in for repair only to find out from the service guy that the light replacement would actually cost $223. Based on the service guy, I needed a special HID light. I was shocked because I went to O'Reilly's and purchased the low beam light myself. Only after researching and speaking with the parts store that it was the correct light. Nor did Kate inform me about a special HID light. Was the price upsetting? Absolutely! However, I was more upset about being told two different things. In addition, the service guy didn't even address or apologize that his representative gave me the wrong information. Instead, he told me how much of a pain it was to change the headlight (which is not my concern, because as an automotive repair technician that's your job). I don't know...the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth for Pep Boys. I used them a few times over the years and never had a bad experience until now. It made me question the training of the staff and their customer service. Also, because I was told two different things I had to do additional research to see what the correct price for the repair was. My overall point: Set the right expectation for the customer. If any price information changes, then apologize with empathy for the inconvenience. Instead of shifting the blame on the car manufacturer.

Amazing people with amazing service!! Raja, Kelly, and Jacob are all well experienced and know what is in the best interest for their customer(s). They continue to ensure trust and that's most important. A million thanks to them....Awesome!

I came to the store for a basic tire inspection and two tires needed changing, which took about 2 hours to get completed. They said I needed a tire alignment, which I knew, so I told them to go ahead. I waited almost 4 hours total for simple services. No stars for that. At least, they are in line with the car dealerships wait times here. Also, this store is overly dirtier and smelly then your average parts store.

The worst service EVER! I made an online appointment, showed them the confirmation, and they said they couldn't get me in! What did I make an appointment for then?! I had a service based business, and I always honored online bookings! Do not go here! They were also very rude...
