We stopped in Peppi’s for a quick bite down on the north side. It did not disappoint. The Cajun fries were perfectly crisp, not too spicy, and served with a big thing of ranch. I got the Mushroom cheese steak and my fiancé got the Big Wheeler. He loved it. Bread was fresh with lots of toppings. They have indoor seating and outside seating in a back alley. Definitely will be back.

Straight bussin! First time here and it did not disappoint. We got the “Santucci” and the “Arnold Palmer” with an order of fries. Everything was awesome. Executed to perfection from the top down. Price was fair. Will be back again. Check out more of our content @thegrubguys

Serving up sando's for as long as i can remember, this is a staple to hit.  The walls are decorated with memories old and new and your guranteed to leave satisfied.Food: 5/5

Awesome sub/sandwich shop with a focus on cheese steaks. Opened in 83. Cheese steaks and fries I have had have all been excellent. I used to stop in the North Side location frequently back in the 90's. I randomly decided to stop back in this location recently and was happy I did! It has been consistently very good! I haven't tried, but salads are also available. Dine in or takeout. Neat traditional Pittsburgh place!  I would recommend if you are looking for a good filling meal with a local vibe. Service has also been great at this location. Good job Peppi's!

"The Cathedral" well the first time I ordered you could barely taste the bacon but my second order I got extra bacon and loved it my bf loves their Italians never disappointed when ordering from hereFood: 5/5

This place honestly has some of the nicest staff. I've been coming here every Monday normally wearing my Giants jersey and the guys give me grief about it, but I honestly do love Pittsburgh as well. It's all in goof fun, and I used to take it to go, but I've been eating in for awhile and I love it. Get the Big Wheeler if you're especially hungry. TLDR- sandwiches are great, the people are great, and the atmosphere is great. If you're visiting Pittsburgh give this pace a try.

Sandwich was excellent and prices are fair. The only reason I docked a star is the wait. It was the middle of day and not busy but took forever just to get a Sandwich, maybe they had something going on but 5 stars needs to be almost perfect IMO.

We went for a lunch "treat".  I got one of my favorites "The Joey Porter" ... steak sandwich with portabella mushrooms and horseradish mayo.  My boyfriend got a burger, plus a side of fries to share.  Everything was fresh and delicious and the fries were hot and crispy.  So much food we both only ate half of our sandwiches.  We'll be back for sure!!
