Just getting ready to reserve a group site for this year. Read reviews and had to add my opinion. The place needs new playgrounds. But we found it very clean. Found the host to be hard working and very helpful. They cleaned the bathrooms twice a day and drove around picking up trash and checking on their guests every hour or so. We love the fact you need to abide by the rules because it keeps it enjoyable for all.

The group site was clean and really close to the parking lot, everything was paved, and we were really close to the river. I'd recommend it for large groups.

The hosts were not attentive to the restrooms but the campground itself was nice.

This campground has a few picnic areas right by the creek that my family has been coming to for years. We bring a picnic and inner tubes and play in the water. The creek is not big, but it's fun to ride a tube down and for the kids to build dams in. There are a lot of areas that are shallow enough for the kids to play safely in. 

I gave it a lower rating because they've started charging an entrance fee per car that feels excessive considering the condition of the place. There's an unusable playground and dirty bathrooms. The picnic areas were nothing special. Just old tables under trees. In other words, I had difficulty justifying the cost. 

We'll likely be back, but only because it's tradition and it's not that often we visit. If we lived here, we would find other ways to get to the creek.

Camp post are very strick about if you park more than 20 min you need to pay!!!
