I normally enjoy camping here except for this visit. There were people next to the camp host parting most of the night their music turned up so loud I could barely hear sound through my head phones while watching a movie. The same campers were wandering the camp ground at 1 AM talking loud I thought they maybe casing some of the campsites. There was a large dog wandering the camp ground at night that urinated on my camp gear. I complained to the camp host he said he did not hear anything and he explained the dog wanders the camp ground all the time it's a local sheep herding dog. I felt like he and his wife just want free camping without earning it.

This is not a typical mountain campground. It's definitely a lakeside campground. It needs more trees. There is a lot of grass and fields so it's great for field games. There is also full running water toilets with soap. They also have yurts for rental. We did a family reunion here but they charge $10 per car. Not sure why we also paid to reserve a bowery and we can't park for free? It puts a sour taste in some of the guests mouths when they unexpectedly have to pay for parking. Some choose to park just outside of the gate (200 yards from the bowery) and walk in

Did a family reunion there. Good facilities for a fairly large group. Half my family stayed in the yerts and we're plenty warm. The main lawn down yl by the lake wad nice and green but the lawn at my campsite was:l yellow and crunchy. It's nice that there is a little convenience store there by the boat ramp. While selection isn't huge they have a good variety of basics.

Beautiful lakeside campground. The staff was very friendly and the views are awesome.

I made a reservation and then could not get a hold of anyone for more information, they were never available and never returned my calls. I need better service than that.
