Don’t use this company for dry cleaning!

Just picked up my 3 piece suit and found out that they had shredded the lower back part of my tie. When I returned to discuss the issue with them they stated that the receipt stated it was already damaged (a receipt that they printed after they accepted the 3 pieces in the beginning). I confronted them saying that their was no possible way it was damaged and it looked like they were trying to cover themselves by writing on the receipt that it was already damaged.

I’ve never used a dry cleaner before that does check the items to insure they are not damaged prior to accepting them.

I recently took my wedding dress to Persnickety Cleaners to be cleaned following my wedding. I had some run of the mill grass/dirt stains along the bottom of the skirt (pretty common I'd imagine) and one larger yellow tinted stain on the skirt. I called ahead and spoke to a man who introduced himself as the owner. I told him about the stains - he said he's been in the business for decades, and he's seen it all, and that Persnickety dry cleans most of the wedding dresses in the valley. He was very nice and I ended the conversation feeling very hopeful that my dress would be restored to near perfect condition, without a worry in sight. Well, when I picked up my dress, my stomach sank. The grass/dirt stains were still there, along with the faded yellow stain. My dress essentially looked no different than when I had brought it in. The gal at the counter explained that the "yellow tag" was their way of saying, "Hey we tried our best, but this is as good as it gets." Guess what? It wasn't "as good as it gets." I have serious doubts as to whether or not they tried at all because that night, I hand scrubbed my dress and would you believe it, all of the stains came out. All it took was a little elbow grease on my end. Persnickety Cleaners is a total waste of money. Save yourself the headache, and a chunk of change, and clean your dress yourself. Honestly one of the most disappointing service experiences I have had in Bozeman.

I have been using Persnickity Cleaners on Babcock since 1993 and have always found them to be professional, reliable and courteous.  their laundry and dry cleaning services have always been top notch, regardless of the difficulty of restoring the item to "like new".

I've used Persnickety Formalwear and dry cleaning multiple times and every time they've been professional and extremely helpful. They always find the right dress and the right price for me as I'm on a budget.  Boy my boys get their tuxes from there and have never had a problem! They always look great and feel even better!  Keep up the great work guys, you do an amazing job and I will never go anywhere else!   -Mamma Miller
