This place needs to be shut down!! The poor animals are over crowded and neglected.  The dogs and cats absolutely stink. These animals never get any exercise and are closed up in cages with wire bottoms . The feet of dogs and cats are not meant for walking on wire, let alone making them sleep on hard wire. Right now they have a dog with a hernia and a tumor on his leg , yet he has not been taken to a vet for proper care. Also, if they have the breed of this dog correct, it is way too small for his age. He is starving because they are not feeding him enough. This is a place that sells puppy mill puppies that are often sick. Their fish are over stocked in nearly every tank. The place is dirty and stinks. Anyone who spends money supporting a pet store like this, should be ashamed of themselves for helping them neglect and abuse animals!!

Never go here if you care about animals at all. Horrible conditions for pets. Over crowding in all small animal cages. Disgusting place. Last time I went there a guy was returning a puppy he said his vet said was sick. The lady working who stated she was manager was very nasty to the man. There was a few of people in the store watching this interaction. The man said the dog refused to eat anything and his vet said all the shots the dog had from pet connection were FAKE, and needed redone. After the man returned the dog, the girl threw the puppy back in the bin with the others. Now if this dog was really sick why wouldn't they be looking at the dog and seeing if it needed anything before shoving it back with all the others to get sick.

How does a place like this exist? They breed companion animals for profit. They sell dogs and CATS from unregulated breeders. Filthy operation. "Under California's new law, pet store owners will be required to work with local shelters and rescue groups to sell dogs, cats and rabbits." California has paved the way for other states like ours to adopt laws protecting these animals (thank God). Sorry Pet Connection but new laws are fast approaching. Adopt Don't Shop

Stopped in the buy fish. Staff was very helpful about which breeds to get. They answered all my questions and I'm thoughly pleased.

They are so knowledgeable and friendly. They made buying just the right fish a breeze for us newbie aquarium owners, also helping to calm my son's desire to dump a bunch of fish into the tank right away. They have great decorations, and when I bought a air pump with sponge, they gave me a sponge from one of their tanks to help cycle the water faster. I won't go anywhere else for my fish! They also have cheap refills on fish flakes!
