I've never had anything other than a great experience at this Pet Valu since the day they opened. The manager always greets me by name and the staff are friendly and helpful. On the one or two occasions that they didn't carry something that I was looking for they've offered to order it for me. You don't get that kind of service at the big-box pet supply stores. Pet Valu has been a much-needed and welcome addition to Roxborough.

Always friendly and nice, they have much better everything the pet smart an Petco, and they have rescue cats an kittens, and a do it yourself pet bath area

Great store with good customer service. They have a good variety of products, store is clean and well lit.

Take my dog to wash him in one of the three washing areas. They even provide soap. Good prices too.

Experiences I've had here are inferior to the Bala Cynwyd location across the river.
Plus, they never seem to have the food our cat eats in stock, whereas Bala almost always does. 
Disappointing, as this location is much closer, and an easier drive.
