Quick stop to pick up our monthly supply of dog food. Wasn't very busy, we had trouble finding the rebate that went with the brand of dog food we purchased. The sales associates couldn't find it either. After a few minutes another checker came up front with a stack of them in her hand. They have a nice program where you buy ten bags of dog food and you get the eleventh free

An unfortunate relic of a once greater pet store. Clearly suffering from tightened margins in a competitive market with PetSmart and PetCo, service and quality have fallen while prices have increased. The store is run by children; presumably to keep their employees cheap. Finding an experienced grown up to answer questions is like searching for a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. The teenagers they hire to provide customer service are often too busy with their own prerogatives and seem inconvenienced when asked for help. A tip for Pet World - you could compete in this market by investing in knowledgeable, dedicated staff that provide excellent service. People will pay slightly more if they enjoy their experience with you. But you won't be around much longer if you provide the worst of both worlds.

A local large pet store that is clean and has a knowledgeable staff...especially in the fish/aquarium area! Has kittens sometimes, birds, small mammals and fish. Pet toys, cages, food, supplies in abundance!

Decent selection but it's hit or miss on whether you can find helpful staff.

I like the clean organized feel to the store but I wish they had more ghost shrimp. We go through em like crazy.
