I took my dog here today to get groomed and he has literally never looked worse. The groomers were sweet but clearly did not know how to cut my dogs hair. They also cut him twice and didn’t mention it at all to me when I picked him up.

Went with intentions of having a short haircut due to my dog starting to get matted from the hot weather. Called after 3 hours of waiting to get an ETA on picking my dog up and was put on hold. Turns out they clipped her back leg with scissors and she was being taken to the vet behind the store. Rushed to the vet they told me to go to and the vet staff didn't even know my dog was coming. Called the groomers twice to see where they had taken my dog and the groomer went to a complete opposite vet 10 mins away. When seeing my dogs cut it wasn't as bad as I had imagined, but she still required glue sutures to close it. Petco covered the costs, but I still cannot get over the lack of communication between the staff and vet and me (the owner) about the whole situation. And my dog was left looking worse than she went in there due to the left over hair needed to be cut.

The store was well-organized the staff was very nice. But these poor ball pythons (3) had multiple stuck sheds. And the humidity was non-existent. Literally. The humidity gauge was at below zero. Ball pythons need humidity of 60 to 80%. I thought the one in the front was dead seeing as it looked all dried up. It breathed and I could see it was alive I doubt it will be that way for long. This is the second time I've seen ball pythons in this condition at this location. I will be contacting Petco about this.

This Petco has wonderful helpful employees. It also gas every need possible for your pet. They are also open late on Sundays- just a little perk.
