The customer service is very poor. Either there isn't enough help, or the staff working is rude. I will keep my business at Tropical Waters and Pet Smart

Used to be my favorite place for pet care needs.  As of late it has significantly gone down hill.  I've had to stand in the checkout line for a significant amount of time behind a number of people just to get help on the floor because no one can be found.  Their has also been numerous times the product I have wanted has been out of stock.  Most recently when I purchased a heat bulb the employee told me to bring it back if it burnt out even after a month or so.  I did this, and was told by the snotty manager that their was a 7 day limit, and she did not care what her employee had told me, she only cared about being right and being full of herself.  Told her I will shop elsewhere and simply said ok.

A good selection of pet products like food, bedding, litter, shampoo, and aquariums/terrariums. Also offer pet grooming services.  Small pets such as rodents, birds, and fish are available for purchase. Location is convenient - right in the Heart of Eau Claire's southside shopping district.

I used to use both PetSmart and Petco equally but lately I've been staying strong with PetSmart and then one day I decided I'd give Petco a chance again.....then I remembered why....... If you have many different types of animals that are all equally spoiled and deep pockets like me you're going to spend some time in the store, right...... I think every employee that worked there that day looked at me like I was robbing the place.  I even had one girl that lingered the whole time I was there.  My cart was literally stacked so high I couldn't see past it to push it without running into stuff and they still thought it was necessary to eyeball me my entire time there.  Hours later and thousand dollars later I was out of there but even at checkout they were rude and unfriendly.....I was almost to the point of walking out mid-checkout I was getting so frustrated.  Consider that last stop an income blessing because I won't come back.  Hello PetSmart!
