I used to be very happy with this store. But then the service went downhill FAST. The new groomer is rude, handles my dogs in a way that's upsetting both the dogs and my wife and I, to too it off she calls out sick often enough that twice I've taken the dogs in and no one was there. You think they would just lock the grooming sections door and hang a closed sign rather than leave people to wait for someone or find someone to find out the groomer called out sick. Only good thing about this store anymore is the dog trainer. Unfortunately our dogs are done training. So disappointed that we now feel like we have to drive out to the other side of town for a decent experience at Petco. Maybe we should start taking our business to PetSmart.

Beautiful new store. I havent been in for a couple of years since I moved to dc. I thought it was closed but then my dad told me it was relocated! Tanks are clean and fish are healthy! The man in the fish dept asked me a questions about my tank, he was seemed to care very much about the animals and their well-being, making sure I knew what I was doing. Ive also attached a photo of my tanks! Guppies and. Ballon mollies are my thing!

The store is unorganized.  Not easy to find what I was looking for. Priced higher than Petsmart.  No one asked me if they could help me.  Waited in line for at least 10 min while the cashier went through some adoption thing with coupons with a couple.  She never acknowledged me or any of the other customers lining up behind me. The people she was helping noticed the long line and said something to her so she called for help. Then to finish this awful experience, I spend $65 only to get a coupon from the cashier for $5 off A purchase of $25 or more and of course it started today. Really???  It would have been ok if it started tomorrow but to be sneaky like that and deliberately give it to me while I'm paying is a slap in the face. I gave it back to him and told him that I could have used it 2 seconds ago and left!  I will never go back!
