If I could give NEGATIVE stars I WOULD!!!! My 5yr old son and I went to pet co today 7-10-17 to get some bunny treats and spend a little time with the kittens/cats for adoption!! We have done this a few different times in the past and today I was so disgusted. We were in cat area and there was about 1in of water in the water bowl and mold/mildew floating on top of the tiny bit of water that WAS in the bowl!!!! Also another cage that had a 12 yr old beautiful cat in it had at least 6 piles of poop in his litter box and smelled so bad. My 5 yr old said something to a lady he saw working there with the mice and she told him "we Don't take care of them" (meaning the cats)!! I then proceeded to tell her the reason he's asking is because there is mold/mildew in one of the cats water bowl!!! I have called the aspca and someone is going to call me in the am so I can discuss this problem with them also!! I am just trying to be a voice for animals/children/the elderly and anyone or anything that DOESN'T have their own!!

If I could give negative or zero stars I would.  Do NOT take your pets to this location for grooming the new grooming department manager is rude, disrespectful, and not nice to the animals or customers.   I have no idea why Petco would hire this person to "manage" the grooming department since she has zero interpersonal skills.  We have been going to this location for 6-7 years with no problems with the previous manager or any of the staff in the past.   When we dropped my dog off to get groomed we were told if there was any problems we would have to come back and pick up our dog even if they were not finished grooming my dog.  I can only picture my dog with half a haircut leaving the store which paints a funny picture in my mind.  The worst part was we were 5 steps into the store less than 1 minute in to shop for dog food, pet treats, and toys when the "new manager" came rushing in as if the world was coming to an end to tell us she will NOT be able to groom our dog.  Keep in mind our dog is a 6lb Yorkie that is the nicest and friendliest  little puppy who plays with my 6 year old and 3 year old kids and their friends all the time with no problem.  For an "expert manager" who is in the business of dealing with animals I find it hard to believe she could not manage a 6lb Yorkie.   Unless you want to be treated like a 3rd class citizen or have your pet handled by someone who has a bad attitude I suggest you steer clear.

Friendly staff, clean store.

BUYER BEWARE! Shop around. Their flea meds were twice, yes twice!, as much as the Target next door.

Outstanding customer service. The staff is very knowledgeable and they carry a great selection of products at reasonable prices. Had my dog groomed and they clipped her too close near her private area and it has been an ordeal trying to get this to heal up. All she wants to do is lick it. I had to end up buying a cone type device to wear around her neck that cost me another $30! I'll shop here but no longer go for grooming.
