Small cozy cafe located in a corner street. The place is clean, bathroom is clean. The staff are polite and professional. The prices are reasonable. Would recommendFood: 4/5

Over all a bad experience. Coffee was served to me quickly. Waitress was not fluent in English as I had couple instructions on ingredients and questions, so they were going back and forth but respected me. Although the service was slow then and the staff started sitting in tables eating on middle of a rush then running food at same time, gross. I was told salad comes with Feta, It didn't come I had to ask again and for another thing. Main course arrived and was brough to me without the side. The food was not tasty I ordered Steak and the mixed veggies were cold untasty. Coffee was poured whenever asked, and thats the only thing I liked aside the salad simple salad who ofc they didn't "cook" it. Staff was walking through the floor with a hand truck carrying stuff while people are eating.... At end I asked for a check and I waited for so long.. Other people were waiting and started feeling the same and eye contacts were made. Get a new chef and train your staff properly and follow at least some regulations and expectations a dinner should have. Not coming back.

This place needs a new chef. I ordered a muffin for breakfast and it was BURNT! Forgot the sides I asked for and didn’t even ask if I wanted any spreads for my meal. They dont put fresh tomatoes and lettuce on your burgers either. Not worth spending your hard earn money here.

I am french, I spend 6 months for a summer session at Fordham University in 1999. And I discover the Pete's Cafe seems to exist again today.....incredible. I took my Breakfasts every morning all along my Summer session. Very nice place and Good Foods.  See you during my next stay in Big Apple withy Family and Daughter. Laurent Gascoin

Waited forever to get seated and even lined up get my order. They need more staff to help. Even took long to pay my bill. Just ask for everything at once. Seat, food n check.Food: 2/5

I’m not the type to give bad reviews but I’m tired of giving Pete’s any more chances. They somehow can never get my orders correctly. The food is just bland and the customer service is terrible. I went in for brunch ordered a cup coffee along with a bagel and a Philly-cheesesteak. The place wasn’t busy yet it took almost 30 mins for my coffee and another 30 for my food, finished my coffee I asked for a refill and never came but the worst part was that the cheesesteak came with roll buns! Like when have you ever seen a Philly-cheesesteak been served on roll buns?? But Ok I tried it, it was tasteless I swear to god. It almost feels like they’re trying to get rid of customers on purpose when I’m always been generous with tips! I’m really not coming back, there are better diners around the block.

The french toast was amazing! Just what I needed after days of craving. The service is also good.

Good breakfast, though nothing special. Inexpensive. Good service

I give 2 starts because the chef doesn’t wear gloves. He sometimes help take out food and get drinks from the fridge and goes back and touches the food. No soap, no getting gloves. I watched him take out all potatoes with his hands. The Cook Touches money, packs the food then goes back and proceeds to cook touching sausages, Bacon, and everything u can think of. Unsanitary!!! Disgusting! And I also complained, they don’t care!

I was not happy with cook I saw him pick up the bacon with his hands, so I told one of the workers what I saw I didn't want the bacon that he touched, she made him put on gloves
