This is a fantastic little attraction for only $2 parking/attendance fee. There is a small museum and the chance to see the lift lock in person from multiple vantage points. Would highly recommend as a small attraction to visit en route to somewhere else.

Great experience kayaking the lift lock. Launched our kayaks at the park and paddled over.  The staff at the visitor center and the lift lock itself are very polite, informative and helpful.

Beautiful place, especially in the fall. Locks shut down for the winter after Thanksgiving weekend but still beautiful place to walk around.

A beautiful place for a picnic. We were joined by a lovely pair of ducks who ate from my hand and a gull with a taste for jalapenos.
