What a fantastic place to visit and spend a day. The exhibits are very interesting and fun to look at. They have a lot of great artifacts and cars here. It is like walking through a piece of American automotive history here. I highly recommend taking the vault tour. The guide was awesome and the cars down there are spectacular. Worth it and can not wait to come back and visit again!

Amazing place to visit! The displays are truly one of a kind with cars that you won’t likely ever see on an open road. The permanent installations were presented so well it looked like a movie set and the Ferrari exhibit was beyond top shelf with cars that you dream of seeing. The staff were not just friendly but also quite knowledgeable. Gift shop was on the expensive side but I think that is to be expected in such an amazing facility.

Great collection of cars! Lots of historic cars, modern cars, movie cars, and other interesting cars and car parts and history. Good for car buffs and novices alike. If you have ever liked a car, you will find something enjoyable at this museum. Just a note: I did bring my children and they enjoyed it thoroughly. They even have a section devoted to kids that has interactive features and information on how cars work that are well suited for kids. However, the rest of the museum is full of very expensive cars with "do not touch" signs everywhere. If your kids like to wander (like mine) or "look" at things with their hands (like mine), then you will want to keep a very close eye on them. The employees are quick to remind guests and their children of their policies. I agree with their policy but want to warn others that they will follow you or your kids if they think you are getting too close to the vehicles.

Save your money and go to your local weekend car gathering. Have been to the Peterson in the past and enjoyed the visit. They have reduced the size of displays, I think what they are trying to do is have people purchase the vault tour to see cars. Saturday morning car shows are free and you will see more cars and have a better experience

Beautiful building suited for showing off the great collection. Rotating exhibits so check their web site frequently as to not miss. Dan Gurney AAR collection was a real treat also the Bugatti display was amazing. Convenient parking. Good location near art museums so the girls don't have to suffer with the car guys.
