We recently adopted a Bearded Lizard and I needed supplies for him and I was unsure what I had was sufficient to care for him. Both Chris and Tom helped me with my questions and purchases. They were VERY knowledgeable and I feel like I will have support with future questions if I need to. I shop here frequently for my dogs' food and Pets Plus carries the healthier brand names that I feed my dog. I am very happy that Pets Plus does not get their dogs from puppy mills no longer; it is the reason I started shopping here. Generally when I walk into the store, someone always greets me and asks if I need help.

This store has a wide assortment of products. Some things you can get cheaper at Walmart, but Walmart doesn't have the large selection or helpful staff.

I usually buy my fish here. They have a good selection at competitive prices and seem to take better care of their fish than some other places.
I miss the guy who used to work/works in the  fish department. I'm not sure if he still works there  or not. Maybe I just haven't come in during his work hours? He was/is very knowledgeable and helpful. I'm coming to get fish next week, so maybe I'll see him if he's still working there.

I am so glad that they now have shelter animals for adoption instead of just puppies. I've heard horror stories from people who bought dogs here in the past (a lot of expensive serious health issues resulting from poor breeding). So many animals need adoption & I'm very glad Pets Plus is helping these animals find new homes. I am seeing more & more pet stores doing this now & I think it's excellent!

I bought a hamster here several years ago & always got her supplies here. They had everything I've ever needed for her: cool cages, food & bedding, toys, etc.

I'm also impressed by the reptile supplies. They have everything you could need for turtles, tortoises, snakes, etc...even stuff for crabs and frogs.
If there's something you need that they don't have, they might be able to order it for you.

The staff has always been very friendly & helpful to me.

I think Pets Plus has the best selection of all the pet stores in Quakertown. It's nice to go to 1 place and get everything you need.

This store also has a convenient location right on 309 with a big sign that's hard to miss.

Good shop overall, good selection and fair pricing.  One of the few pet shops to still sell puppies.  Sometimes fish can be seen dead in tanks which is only bad side, makes me question overall animal health from suppliers

I've been going here for a couple of years since I started an aquarium. Most of the time, their fish salesman on duty is extremely knowledgeable, & I go to them for advice on how to fix various problems. They rehomed my plecko who grew too big for my tank, & recommended the correct sized breed for me. I also own rabbits, & I have to say that the rabbits at this store are obviously well loved - many of them will walk right up to customers for attention, instead of running & hiding. I know there had been staff turnover in the past year, but they seem to be getting back on track.

I come there all the time I'm a saltwater enthusiast and I spend a lot of money on the hobby I have bought several fish and coral from here ! Wayne is the reason I keep coming back he is so informative and knowledgeable about everything ! He treats customers great and takes his time to help all your needs ! As long as Wayne is there I will keep coming back and sending all my friends and family . Great employee. By the way the rest of the staff are great too .
