I recently came to the Manchester MO PetSmart location and they worked my dog in to check her condition.  This location also has a Pet Hotel and a Groomer!  Everyone I spoke with at the Banfield Pet Hospital there, the Pet Hotel, and the Goomer were all super friendly, helpful, professional and efficient.  I plan to use this location for my dogs' needs from now on.  Thank you!

Aweful in the grooming department. I brought my small, older dog in for a bath and nail clipping. I had an appointment, but instead of bathing my dog and providing service, Lindy put my dog in a cage and must have handled her very roughly because my dog apparently became so frightened that Lindy called me almost an hour later to report that she had to put a noose on a pole around my dogs neck to pull her out of the cage!! My dog has NEVER bitten anyone, but became so frightened that Lindy told me my dog tried to snap at her. A fourteen year old dog that has never shown aggression. Then they informed me that it was against policy to provide the service to my dog. So they put her in a cage, distressed her, tortured her with a noose around her neck because she became defensive of their poor handling, (because Lindy has no gentle, nurturant skill with dogs and was under time pressure?). Why didn't they let me take my dog out of the cage if they couldn't handle her, instead of further distressing this poor little old dog!? Lindy has a rude, rough attitude, no wonder she frightened my dog. So I wasted an hour and got no service, just a frightened distraught dog, and a very bad attitude from the staff. My dog has never had a problem like this in fourteen years of having baths!!

The grooming service was just as expensive as small private groomers but was HORRIBLE. My dog's hair isn't even and there are long hairs that we're completely missed.

The grooming service is horrible. My dog is fearful and the lady that groomed her was abrupt and not kind at all, so much so that my dog came home visibly shaken and sick from the stress. It took days for me to calm my dog down. God knows what happened to her but not worth the risk. I also paid for nail grinding but came to realize later that her nails weren't touched, however given how upset my dog was there was no way I was taking her back in so ended up just giving them free money. Seriously find somewhere else to get your dogs groomed, this service should be shut down.
