We have been HUGE fans of TU for a few years now. We’ve been to almost every store in the St. Louis area and time after time, we are treated with excellent customer service by staff and high-quality groomers. I have to share one experience from last night that shows why we will continually choose TU for our pups. 
My partner and I are both teachers with long hours and two dogs that we love dearly. We were out to dinner celebrating a long week, knowing we still had to buy dog food so our dogs could eat dinner that evening. 
As we were leaving dinner, we called this store inquiring about their hours (it was 8:05 PM). The manager, Nate, picked up the phone and had said that they had already closed at 8:00 PM, but that he was in the shop till 8:30 PM if we could get there before then. 
No other pet food store sells our dog food, and Nate graciously opened up the doors to let us buy a bag of dog food after hours on a Friday night. 
This is just another reason why TU is so successful, they are willing to go above and beyond for the customer. Teresa and all of the staff at TU, thank you for providing such excellent care for pets and their families!

I really liked the store and brought my dog on my second visit. While exploring the store with my dog I turned around to see one of the workers standing behind me I assume to see if I was stealing. I work extremely hard for everything that I won and if I can afford a dog I can afford the things that he needs and wants. I live in the area and I work down the street. I did not appreciate this type of behavior from this employee and I do not plan to ever give any of my business to any other treats unleashed. I purposefully waited 2 months to write my review because I signed up for a membership during my purchase and did not want to be contacted by the employees. I will also say this. There were other people in the store and the employee never walked around the store while they were in the back of the store for an extended period of time. I believe that because my boyfriend and I are black the employee felt that we were going to steal something. Worst experience ever!

After trying the self-wash stations at Three Dog Bakery and loving them, I decided to try the stations at Treats Unleashed since it is closer to my house. After my experience at Treats Unleashed, I will definitely be driving the extra couple miles to Three Dog Bakery. First of all, there are no hooks on the walls in the station, so good luck figuring out what to do with your purse, jacket, or dog’s leash. The tubs at Treats Unleashed are metal instead of plastic, so if your dog is even slightly apprehensive about baths, the clanging against the tub scares them. There’s no up or down feature on the tubs, so you have to lift your dog in if they won’t jump in themselves, which is a bit difficult if you have a large dog like mine. Even though the employee went in to “get the station ready” before I used it, the shampoo bottles and ear cleaning solution were empty, and all the brushes were full of dog hair and looked like they were never cleaned. Furthermore, when I stepped outside the station to find an employee to get me some more shampoo, there was no one in sight and it took a good two minutes of me calling for an employee for anyone to emerge. After all this, the self-wash costs $17, as opposed to $10 at Three Dog Bakery. I won’t be using the self-wash stations at Treats Unleashed again, and after the way the employees behaved, I probably won’t go back there for merchandise or treats either.

An adorable shop with homemade style treats for a reasonable price. My dog loved the yogurt paw prints. There's also a wider than usual range of great toy brands and some unusual toys I haven't seen before.

Nate, the store manager, was incredible with helping me determine the right mix of food for my dogs.  My dogs were having a horrible time with breathing, itchy & dry skin, and were gaining too much weight.  I explained the situation to Nate and he immediately educated me about a dog's PH and acidity levels.  He directed me toward solutions that have worked so WELL.  My dogs are so much happier now because of it!  Nate is incredible and the other people who work at the shop have always been so sweet and helpful!
