It's a nice store but it's starting to get pricey on some items. I use to go here a lot but not as much since they've jacked up their prices.

Bought a 60 gallon fish tank on 12/29 and had to take it back because a small crack. When I arrived I was helped by great employees and told I would get a replacement tank. Another employee came from the back and loudly exclaimed that it was just silicon and that there was nothing wrong with it and argued with the other employees about the nature of the imperfection. I was given a new tank & I started shopping for water conditioner & the same employee could be heard in the fish section talking about how we set the hood up wrong and now the whole item would be discounted. The entire store could hear his complaining and belittling. It is possible I set up the hood wrong because of inexperience, but I was very hurt by the public nature of how the employee reacted. We confronted the employee and he apologized but his excuse was “I didn’t know you were still in the store.” So would it be ok if I wasn’t in the store and you were loudly complaining about a customer in a customer area? I decided on two stars because all of the other employees that I encountered were amazing & very helpful. I hope this employee will learn and make better choices in the future.

Always have sales, events with free items usually about once a month. Good price if you can find deals!

Never ever take your pet to be groomed here. They will not allow you to see the kennels where pets are kept while waiting to be groomed. The staff is rude. I had to explain 4 times how I would like my dog cut because they weren't listening to me the first 3 times I explained it. I was so uncomfortable with their short attention span and the fact that they would not allow me to see the kennels that I decided to not even have my dog groomed. I will never set foot inside their grooming salon again.

The employees at petsmart are very rude when it comes to adopting. It’s like they don’t wanna sell their animals and give it to a loving home.
