Nice view of the waterfront (you have to pay extra). The rooms were clean, however the rest of the hotel was not. The breakfast area was very dirty with limited breakfast options. The stairwells, elevator, lobby area all need a good cleaning and some updates - looks very run down. We arrived after dark and had a hard time finding the place due to poor signage. The lobby was also completely dark with the exception of two desk lights at the front desk. Also, the seals on the door are very thin and you can hear people quite easily in the halls and down on the boardwalk area.

Doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's a nice enough hotel inside. Room was plenty big, bathroom was fine, and no odors or anything off putting. We had a view of the parking lot, but you can see the bridge, too.  Hubby liked walking that bridge after dinner at the on site restaurant. Food was good, prices were reasonable for waterfront dining, and we left happy.  We've subsequently moved to the area, and still go there for meals on occasion. I would recommend the hotel for out of town guests.

Hotel was very affordable but don't expect it to be elegant.  There were a few tiny ants in the bathroom running around.  Some of the lights in the room didn't work because the light switch was half missing and the complementary breakfast as a bit lacking to say the least.  With all that said.  The hotel is in a great location and for the price it was totally worth it.  I wasn't there to have honeymoon or anything crazy; I just needed a place to crash and something to do in the evening.  Even with the issues it had.  If I return to Punta Gorda Florida I will seek out that same hotel again.

We went to the restaurant/bar, Hurricane Charley's, to watch a local band playing. Overall experience was good. I ordered coconut shrimp, was cooked perfectly. I enjoyed it.

They are always nice. We stayed here for 6 months and cleaned everyday really well. Room always smelt wonderful.
