I’m probably in the minority, but I was suprised at the professsionalism at 913 Filbert. My car was booted and towed and I needed a payment plan. All of the workers I had contact with were polite, professional and well spoken. Not sure I could be that way dealing with some of the people that have every excuse in the book about the tickets rthey had.

Called and the mean lady who picked up asks me what I need I let her know that 3 people who I have been receiving amnesty letters for do not live at this address. Her answer was just send it back. I let her know I have done so twice she says hold on. Puts me on hold and hangs up!!!! Then would not pick up the phone. Glad to see tax payers money going to hard workers.

With new Amnestry program to waived all old tickets and with a booted car which was sold at an public auctions which fee's supposedly wipe balance out ..how is it i still have tickets on my record ???

These lazy, mean, overpaid, crooked hacks do far more good than harm. Yes, they are corrupt and evil, but they enforce the parking laws. Anyone who has ever driven through Center City should appreciate the fact that the PPA is making the streets safer and easier to navigate through. I love to watch illegally parked cars get towed, especially when their enraged owners walk up. If you do not want to receive a ticket or have your car towed, do not park illegally. These lowlifes actually had the gall to cite my car for being illegally parked, even though they used my old, expired, deleted plate number and their photo was of someone else's car! Thank god that they take photos now, otherwise I would have been forced to waste a day in their filthy dump of a courthouse, and would probably have been falsely fined. I was able to rectify the problem with a five-minute phone call. I suspect that Philly cops were behind this harassment because I expose their widespread corruption at various websites, one of which has a staggering 17 million hits!!!

I live in NJ and was at my dads house and they said there was a letter for me.I opened it and the parking authority is asking to be paid for tickets that I paid over 20 years ago.The tickets are from 1992 and 1993.According to the law the statue of limitations is 10 years.If these tickets are over 10 years old then why am I getting a bill for them?When I got the tickets in 1992 I received letters from a collection adceny for months.I finally called the PPA and paid the amout in full and the the letters stopped.So now I read that the city is strapped for cash and your going to charge me for tickets I already paid.I don't think so !!!!!!!.I called the Mayors office, the Govoners office , FOX 29 the Inquire and I will getting an attorney,.it is not my fault that PPA has lousy record keeping but I am not paying tickets that are 20 years old that I paid for already.Also if this is amesty program then you should be charging 10 or 15 dollars per tickect because that's what they cost in 1992 and 1993.Amnesty is only the cost of the original ticket not interest or current costs !!!! If you had time to have a TV show then you must have too much free time.PPA is worse then the mob !!! You should go to jail !!
