Vietnamese crepe (banh xeo) was bland and had no flavor (even with the fish sauce). The rice dishes did not stand out. The fried tofu appetizer was over fried and turned out dry. It came with a dipping soy sauce, but somehow the soy sauce was mixed with oil and this prevented the sauce from sticking to the tofu. Hot tea came out luke warm. The waitress never once smiled and spoke below her breath making it hard to hear. Would not recommend.

Pan fried river trout and vermicelli bowl. Fish was not fishy, was cooked properly, and sauce was great. Pork on the vermicelli was tender and flavorful with crispy edges. They put up with a screaming toddler throwing food on the ground with a smile and patience.

The pho was very good with aromatic broth and the tripe was tender. By the way the large bowls here are rather large so order accordingly.

Food is love. There many food choices at Pho 36 (noodles, rice, soups, appetizers and more) that remind me of the homecoming my mom and grandma had for us kids. They loved us with their wonderful cooking. When I eat at Pho 36, I feel closer to mom and grandma. Always had a good meal there. Try it out; bring you family!

We came here for lunch and they had inexpensive yet flavorful food. Everything was very fresh and the service was great, I would definitely come back here!
