First thing about this place is it's really not busy during the week day which was perfect for me and my friend to just relax and talk. The waitress was extremely helpful in providing me with options to eat as I had never had Pho before. For around $11 I got a nice bowl of beef Pho. It was quite enough for a single meal and if you wanted to, it could be split into two. This place is also close enough to my house to where I would come here again.

I’ve eaten at Pho Cali 4 times. The beef broth doesn’t taste like beef as it should instead it has always been very sweet and salty. However, noodles are cooked right and I like the beef balls. On their Vietnamese sandwiches, the liverwurst spread taste a bit strong and the pickled vegetables is more on the sweeter side too. However, they make original headcheese style sandwiches. If only there was a Lee’s Sandwiches near me. So, why do I keep coming here? 1. They open earlier than other Pho places. 2. I like sweet foods sometimes. 3. I know no other places in Rocklin that make original style headcheese Vietnamese sandwiches.

Food is delicious.  Service was good.  I had the grilled pork, egg roll, and grilled shrimp vermicelli bowl, with lettuce, carrot and peanut.  I think it was #27.  Very good.  I saw the soup and the banh mi and I will be back to have both soon!

Great, clean, new, Vietnamese food restaurant!
The vermicelli noodles with beef where seared deliciously. They use a nice romaine lettuce instead of Iceberg which always adds to the meal. My good friend got the Korean Style beef ribs and he couldn't say enough about him. They looked delicious and he ate every bite off of the bone.
