Emergency room visit. The Dr clearly set the unprofessional environment which lacked compassion. Even the receptionist mocked the patients. When the patient that I was with was told that he was being admitted I asked if it was ok for me to leave..... ( did they need anything from me? ) his reply was " I don't care. You are a big girl. " Wow! What happened to "Sure. We have everything we need. He is in good hands"? Phoenixville Hospital, is this how you would want your family treated? Put this doctor in a back room to read reports. Keep him away from people . I wonder what he thinks when he reviews his night. Does he feel good about treating people poorly? Ugh!

Husband admitted thru emergency moved to observation section. We were told that stress test was gonna be at 730 next morning and would take an hour. Test was not done till 11 and took them 2 hours to do. This is due incompetency with their staff and getting an iv put it. Was now 1 pm he hasn't eaten and we had to wait for a doctor to read results, well now it's 5 pm and he is still sitting there waiting. This is possibly the worst service I have seen in any hospital I would recommend and drive to another one

Had my daughter at phoenixville. My nurses and doctors were great! However I called to ask about her birth certificate and SS card. Who ever entered the information got our address COMPLETELY WRONG. they verified that I wrote it correctly on the paper. The last thing I need to be doing with a 2 month old is jumping through hoops to get a birth certificate and social security card.

Compared to years earlier, the staff in the ER was much more friendly when I had to use their services in April 2015. However, the wait before you were brought back took almost an hour followed by more waiting to be seen by a doctor. The actual treatment was quick followed by another long wait to be discharged. And almost one year later billing issues still need to be worked out because even though the hospital is in network for my insurance, their doctors aren't. My primary care physician told me to go to the ER when I had called him and explained the symptoms. But if that happens again I will opt to use a facility that is a little further away and be treated better.

I needed to go to the ER, but before I headed to the hospital I checked the reviews. After reading the negative ones I thought of calling to check how they would treat me. All I can say is that I decided to go to Paoli hospital instead.
