This place appeared to be highly recommended based on reviews found on the internet.. Not sure what pies they ate but certainly could not be any that we paid $187 that ended up in the trash bin, We ordered an assortment of individual savory pies (Grandmas Chicken Dinner, Mac and Cheese with Bacon Jam, 50 Shades of Mac and Pulled Pork,) for a group of 15 with sides of broccoli and side of potatoes. Desert pies were full size and went with Cherry, Pecan and Cookies and Cream pie. All the savory pies were close to inedible! The double crust of the individual pies was too thick, heavy and bland not light and flaky. Since these are individual sized pies double crusts does not allow for much filling and what little was there was extremely dry and bland. The chicken pie lacked gravy, the Mac & cheese was missing, well the mac & cheese and the pulled pork was so dry it had to have been sitting in a warmer for days. There was not one person in our group of 15 that ate their entire pie. As for the sides, the broccoli was so over cooked it was no longer green, over salted and extremely mushy and followed the half eaten pies into the trash. The potatoes, and the shining star of this very overpriced disaster. were diced, well seasoned and properly cooked. Most of us ended up with having the potatoes for dinner! The sweet pies were not much better. I a sure I am not alone when I expect a made from scratch pie to have a tender, buttery and flaky crust but what we received was the same dense bland crust used for the savory pies. The cherry pie's solid top crust was completely covered in layer of brown sugar and I don't mean a dusting it was a thick layer of sugar. The cookies & cream filling was not creamy but a dense beige gelatinous substance that even the 6-year-old in our group turned their little nose up. The pecan's major issue was too much lack luster crust too little filling. In closing, not sure where all the rave reviews came from, but we would give this establishment a 0 star if we could however, the young man that took our order and the one that delivered this to our hotel were both extremely courteous, timely and all that one would expect for customer service. It is really to bad the product did not deliver!
