My husband and I bought a cutout cookie, sticky bun, and 2 cinnamon walnut thin cookies. The sticky bun was edible the rest were not. Items were purchased to be eaten immediately but were stale beyond belief. These items had to be 4 days old at least. I have never spit a cookie out before but had to in this case. Yuck! The cinnamon walnut cookies were way overbaked. Not to mention all were really expensive. $10 in the trash. Will never return.

Another pleasant experience. I stop by to find a nice environment to crunch through work. It's a few minutes to the airport, so it's ide when waiting to catch a flight.

Maybe we came on the wrong day or wrong time of day. We bought four items: the cut out cookie was stale, 3 or 4 days old at least. The thin cinnamon cookies were also old and overcooked. The pecan roll was ok, but again, not super fresh. For $10, this was very disappointing.

OUTSTANDING COOKIES. I got the sampler tray of small cookies, 3 dozen, for a most treasured and dear friend whose battle with cancer was only days from taking him from this world. His appetite was almost completely gone. At first, when I offered them to him, he expressed his genuine gratitude but shook his head and said he honestly wasn't up to eating anything at all. After chatting for about 10 minutes, I think he was just being polite when he finally asked for one... His eyes lit up after he put it in his mouth. He was clearly surprised that the cookie pleased him so very much! He asked for another, and then another, and then one more! You can bet I was ecstatic. Later that evening his sister texted me to let me know he ate some of the turkey, dressing and gravy I had taken him.... plus every last one of the cookies! I cannot thank West Side Bakery enough for the delicious cookies that pleased my cancer ravished friend beyond words. Those cookies tasted as if they came straight out of an old country grandmother's kitchen (yes, I sampled a few before taking them to him). I just ordered and picked up another plate of the bite sized samplers, this time, for my friend's service :( Thank you, West Side. I wanted a big variety of home made tasting cookies, outstanding tasting, not just 'good' to take to my friend. Because of you, I was able to make that happen. It would have taken me 3 days to bake such a variety of cookies myself; time we did not have to spare. 💕 The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because both times I bought cookies, $33 per plate, I was pleasant but the women behind the counter would not smile, were very curt, and did not say "thank you" when handing me my cookies or my receipts. WHY? To be fair, as a business owner, I can appreciate that we don't always know how our customers are being treated by our staff when we're not there watching. In this case, I'm sorry to report, the staff who waited on me definitely made me feel like they were doing me some kind of begrudged favor to do so. Sorry, but until the ownership sees to it that's no longer the case, cookies, 5 stars, staff manners towards friendly customers, zero stars.

Very beautiful cake decorating, I wish there was more of a variety of baked goods at this location, there doesn't seem to be as much to choose from as the store in Fairlawn. I also need to say that the staff is not friendly at all, there is no interaction with customers on a personal level and when I made a comment on how beautiful the cake decorating was, it wasn't even acknowleged. Customers always appreciate a friendly, welcoming person to wait on them, you won't find it here.
