Great spots that are spaced decently apart from one another. Camp hosts Doug and Pam are a neat couple who happen to be from our hometown. Doug saw that the site we were going into wasn’t a great site for our rig and moved us which was nice. Very sweet folks. Area is a great place to relax with a nice size playground for the kiddos. We went to the Buddy Holly Memorial which was nearby in Clear Lake and right down the road from campground is Winnebago Industries which had a neat & free factory tour.

Pilot Knob is my favorite State Park!! New DNR officer arrived in summer of 2017! Awesome hosts this summer as well!! Lots of improvement plans being made!! Come visit!

Beautiful place grew up here loved it my whole life with the exception of the new dogshit ranger being worse than the last dogshit Ranger they have butchered large portions of the park and ruined what used to be beautiful views

Nice campground. Very noisy neighbors across from us. Rarely saw host. Not sure if we'll be back,campers across from us ruined it. Kids running through our site.  No parental control.
