Hurt by a librarian! - I got extra audio books that I did not order. Every 9 out of 10 books was something that I would never ever read and didn't request. It's difficult to keep going through books when you have to load them to find out their Titles. I tried to correct this situation. The librarian - Marilyn - wanted my attention and she jabbed me with a sharp object to get it. When I tried to let her supervisor know, I couldn't get an appointment. I wasn't ever able to stop them from sending me unwanted books, so I just gave up and returned all my equipment. That's one less blind person that is able to read because of the staff of this facility. Be sure to protect the blind, DON"T send them to this facility alone.

Library Techs don't listen to you, or don't know how to do their jobs properly. I tried to tell both Abby and Juliet on separate occasions that I only wanted specific books sent out to me. They literally sent me hundreds of books that I did not want. I would call and say that I wanted them to stop sending me these books, they would say "OK!" and the books would still keep coming. Some of the titles of what they sent were pretty offensive to me. Even my mailman asked how they thought that I could read 10 books a week. Very grabby people, too. They kept pushing and pulling me around like a slab of meat. How de-humanizing! I really wish that I could deal with someone else or get in touch with a supervisor, but it seems like they are never there.
