Reviews

Clean park and has many amenities but needs to be updated badly. It seems that compared to other thousand trails I have visited this one never has money put into it for improvements or fixing broken or run down issues. Very unfortunate. Could be a beautiful park as it had been years ago. I have been going here off and on for 40+ years.

First impression of this place was terrible. The staff were mean and not accommodating in the least. The park layout was confusing. There is limited (basically no cell service) unless you go up to the restaurant.  If you are in the far back section you can get spotty service but don't expect to be able to power your AC when it's hot out. The electric isn't reliable.  They had a nice beer fest and we met some nice people but this is not a place I will ever return.

All of the Amenities including Sewer hookups are on one side of the street with less desirable overflow no sewer connection, no cellular coverage, no English stations in most of the sites is on the opposite side of the street.  When you arrive you ate told that you will be placed on a waiting list and will have to awake and appear back at the Ranger Station by 8:30 to preview sites becoming available that afternoon.  Names will be called from a waiting list by 9:00 a.m. if a spot is available for you you will be given a crossover sheet to take and place on the site electric box and return at 12 to claim your site IF the current Visitor hasn't extended.  I tried 3 different sites two in the overflow and 2 in the main lot all had bad power, the current does NOT flow high enough to power regular everyday appliances (NOT A/C). The only favorable thing I could find was the location it's proximity to both San Diego and the Mexican border.  Oh and some the staff could use some Customer Service training.

I can really say there is good people that work there frank joe matt. Leslie . Very kind understanding. And some other that was not so kind. Really there are not
