Food came fast! Matador combo, fed three people but easily could feed four. Comes with salad, and other great items like fried banana, fries with hot dogs and that juicy chicken. Price has been going up though, up to $50 now.
The Peruvian food here is delicious!! The service was phenomenal as well! This place is a gem in NYC! And as a Peruvian myself, I can attest to the fact that all of the food here is authentic! The green sauce here is the best I’ve ever had. Not to mention the portion sizes are also huge!! I’ve been here many times but yesterday, my mom and I had dinner here for her birthday, and everything was perfect!! We had the calamari to start! It was crispy and cooked to perfection! Then as our entree we had a combo that included a whole chicken, french fries, and salad!! It was so much food! And we even had enough to take home for lunch the next day! For dessert, the girls came and sang happy birthday to my mom and brought us traditional , Peruvian lucuma ice cream!! I love coming here! If you’ve never had Peruvian food, give this place a shot!! You will NOT regret it! P.S. The food is SO delicious, I always dig in right away and forget to take pictures, but I included the ones I managed to get anyways lol.
The food was absolutely delicious. Staff is attentive and very customer friendly. Lovely experience. Not good for a large group
Great place. The meal deal for the chicken, salad, fries, patacones, etc. is a bargain. Especially for NYC. My daughter had the lomo saltado. Delicious. My wife is Peruvian and she approved.
One of my favorite places for a quick, affordable, and delicious dinners in nyc. 2-4 people can get a chicken and sides for about $40! Highly recommend the fried yucca and maduros. Get extra sauce! This location doesn’t have the best atmosphere, inside is small. The one in Hell’s Kitchen has excellent dining room!
Seated but never got menus, water, or sauces for our food until we had to keep asking for it. Food was great though, but service was not. Severely understaffed and a shame to see that they only have one server for the entire restaurant. Knowing this is a popular establishment, the owners should know only one server is not enough.
Great place for lunch, their chicken is always really good and they serve you with salad, soda and you can pick your choice of French fries, cassava fries, tostones or rice and beans for $12.50 I think it’s a good deal!!
Stopped by to have a quick lunch while waiting for an appointment. The service was quick and pleasant. The food was fresh and delicious. I am grateful that the green sauce was in a squeeze bottle because I am absolutely obsessed with it and I got to pour it on all of it. Perfectly filling. Will definitely return to this location.Food: 5/5
The food is most definitely great and the dessert was delicious.
Hands down the best Pollo a la Brasa I have ever tasted outside of Peru. No different from home. And everything else, the fries, the spicy sauce and the salad… all wonderful!! We had a great time… sorry no pictures, we got right to business.
