I took my wife in she has been feeling flu symptoms for 2 days they took us in quickly and were very nice to her we live in imperial but we chose to take the extra drive and it was worth it .

I'm an RN and I've never seen a hospital as dirty as this one or a staff as inept. They almost killed my husband until they FINALLY conceded they didn't have the knowledge or equipment to treat a blood clot which THEY, in fact, caused. After waiting an extra day, he was finally transported to San Diego Sharp Hospital where he received excellent care. STAY AWAY from Pioneers if at all possible.

Saved my life after being diagnosed with (TTP)-Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura But I give it 3star for plenty of reasons. 1. Before collapsing in the ER, I was being disoriented bcus my brain was not getting oxygen. The security told my gf , "You know , we usually send ppl who act this way to a mental home", WOW I wish I capt that but I was busy throwing up. 2 After having ppl wait for 1 or 2 hrs. They call the same person for 30mins after no respond, while ppl in pain waiting to be called. 3 a desk, then told to wait for 30-45mins, then to be called to the window, re-register for the every visit, then seated for another 25-30mins, then called to "ER" Room, sat in tiny closet, after seated in hallway for almost 2 hrs, then see doctor to ask you same questions the past 2 nurses already asked you, then take you to a room make you lay down and leave you for another hour, come to you and prescribe you nothing, then go home. They know nothing but to prescribe drugs and there , your treated. Unprofessional and very annoying. 5 stars for Linda and Carmen nurses who work there are the nicest and most caring loving nurses there.

TERRIBLE SERVICE. This hospital was dirty, unprofessional and untimely. They use the ER wall as "rooms" labeled as "hallway 2" which is two chairs and the next two chairs are "hallway 3" they are treating patients in these chairs which is a direct violations of HIPAA. They left my crying, bleeding daughter in "hallway 2" for over two hours before even addressing her. Then after throwing a fit we were seen, in a dirty closet that was transformed into a patient room outside of of the security doors of the ER itself. When a doctor finally came in she applied gloves examined my daughters open wound on her lip then went to move the bed. While adjusting the bed still wearing her gloves she moved a trash can that was full of used medical supplies. She then went to continue examining my daughter. When asked politely to change her gloves before touching the child she became annoyed and left the room! This is just one of the numerous things that took place during our visit. It was so dirty, they had a complete disregard for patient privacy and urgency, the staff had me administrator my daughters medication for them, because she was so busy! It was pure awful! After the awful experience and incredibly long wait in the hallway it would have been faster to simply drive to a San Diego based hospital. **One star given because that is the lowest option to allow posting.
