The service from the ER. Is absolutely the worst I have ever experienced! The nurse Heather and Josh. We're so rude and impatient, acted like it hurt them to do their job, there was no doctors in sight. Never did see one. No one could seem to find the problem or seems to care for that matter , instead insisted on pumping an 88 year old man with pain medicine to shut us up,made him go 3 days with out food and water , in the meantime he was getting so weak he almost could not stand the procedure That they finally decided he needed. Needless to say would NEVER go back! Horrible horrible ER staff !! And checking in was a bigger joke! My advise to anyone. If your in need of care. Go somewhere else !!!!

if I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE A 0/5 I WOULD. no one at the front desk and takes forever to see a doctor. you are put in a room and left there for 6 hours with no updates at all. the hospital itself is dead and unusally under staffed and unqualified. the doctors comments are either brief sentences with no further explanation or vague answers. i only saw one nurse the entire time plus they never take out the trash its disgusting. very uncomfortable enviroment and really dumb how you have to wait 3 hour+ to get urine/blood samples results. they should shut down this sad excuse for a hospital. save your money and time and go somewhere else.

I had sudden pain in my left side and after several hours drove myself to the ER. It was mid morning on a Tuesday. It was all I could do to drive there and then walk across the street and up the ramp to the ER door. I walked in doubled over in pain. No one was in the waiting area and to my right I saw a window with a dark haired woman talking to what looked like a male maintenance worker. I waited at the window for several minutes with no acknowledgement from the woman who had her back to the window. I finally asked if I was in the right place... the ER? I could barely stand and was getting nauseated. (If I had been having a heart attack, I guess the woman at the admitting window may have noticed me as I hit the floor. I am still in shock someone so disinterested works in that department when minutes count.) Through the window she asked me for insurance documents. I could barely speak or stand and told her I had been there recently for a procedure and nothing had changed and would she please look up my info? I told her I had to sit down or I would fall down. I told her the on-call doc I had spoken to earlier suspected a bowel obstruction. She opened up the door and had me sit on a chair beside her. She was very rude as she continued to ask me more questions (not related to how I felt) that I could not answer due to being in so much pain. After what seemed like forever, she had me walk down a long hallway. I could barely stand and walking was almost impossible. I kept wondering why she didn't get me a wheelchair? Once I was away from her, my experience went from horrible to great (if you consider being in the ER great). The medical staff was a bit disinterested and chatting among themselves when they were in my room. The nurse gave me a cup and pointed to a restroom across the hall expecting I could walk over there and get a sample and walk back on my own. As much pain as I was in, nauseated and dizzy, I thought that was not a safe thing to have me do alone but she did not offer to help me and walked away so I was on my own. The doc was wonderful. He spoke with me about my symptoms as he got my pain under control. After I had settled down and breathing normally, I was taken to have a CT scan. The tech that took me to the CT was very nice and the CT tech was nice. He took me back to my room to rest and after about 45 minutes the doc came in and told me I had kidney stones. Better than what we initially thought but so painful. The doc was very nice and calming. He explained everything and said after resting another hour or so I could go home since he thought the stones would continue to pass on their own, which they did.

My nephew broke his leg at a party and the doctors were so rude and disrespectful. They did not emidiatly take him to get his leg fixed while he was in pain and instead sat him there while they questioned if my sister had broken it on purpose! My sister and I love that kid to death and would never do anything like that! Now we have a case to fight. Do not go to this place for any medical reason! The doctors are not educated properly on thier work. We had problems with this hospital before. Whatever you do go somewhere else if you can unless it's an emergency like ours was.

Went into the ER last week for severe pain in my neck, head and eyes. It was a Thursday night about 10 PM. I guess they were really busy (at least according to them). I was scheduled for an X Ray of my neck and given a pain shot. Well, I waited. And waited. And waited. Three hours later, I sent my daughter to ask the nurse how much longer. She replied it could be a VERY long time yet, I took this to mean clear until the next morning since we were already at 1 AM. So I asked to just be discharged and sent home, as the pain was getting worse from the severely uncomfortable bed. No nurse ever came to even see me again, let alone discharge me. I finally just walked out and went home. I never even received a follow up call to see if I was ok or alive! The doctor and nurse were nice. But the extreme wait and lack of service to even figure out what was wrong with me was completely unacceptable! I am sure they will charge my insurance for a full visit when all they did was give me a toradol shot and never even check me again... Terrible. You need to do much, much better Jordan Valley. Or Inwont ever go here again...
