I would skip the bowls entirely, it was not good at all. The Shawarma is just OK. It's a little on the dry side, and the chicken would have benefited from being seasoned a bit better. The taller gentleman that works here is friendly enough but I can't say the same of the gentleman with glasses.
I didn’t feel the guy with glasses was quite welcoming. So, no points for customer service. I ordered chicken shawarma where chicken was over cooked and dark. There was no steak shawarma but was shown on the menu. I don’t recommend “pita my shawarma”. Overrated with ads.
Pita My Shwarma is a great place to stop and have a quick lunch! The food has a lot of flavor and the pickles tie the dishes together well. There isn't a lot of seating inside, so it might be a better bet to order food to-go, or when the weather is nice, there are a few tables outside.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
I’ll keep this one short: I love falafels, and I think this is the best one I’ve ever eaten. Also I’ve eaten falafel in many places, not originally from the area. This place is super legit.
If you haven't tried this place yet, please do. I am across the Street at New Alliance Credit Union and my staff loves this place. We recently used them for a VIP party, and the food was fantastic. Please do yourself a favor, and give them a try.
Went there twice and disappointed both the times, tried there bowl - very disappointing Tried there shawarma - very disappointing, chicken was not properly cooked. Tried there fries - bitter and disgusting
We went to Pita My Shawarma today, unknowingly during their 2 year anniversary weekend. Had an incredibly disappointing experience and likely won’t return. We ordered a chicken shawarma bowl no veggies and a chicken shawarma wrap with fries and hot chili add ons. We ate it there and it took 25-30 minutes for our order to be ready. Not what you’d expect for fast casual. After we already waited so long for our food, the chicken shwarma bowl had all of the vegetable fixings we specifically asked to leave off as my boyfriend does not eat them. For the price and the amount of time we waited, it was really upsetting. We won’t be back.
Food was okay. Got a falafel wrap; would have been better if wrap was toasted in my opinion. Didn't take long to make which was good. Street parking pay by meter. Portion size was fair for the price.Food: 3/5
Fast, friendly, and most importantly - tastes great. I'm a bigger fan of rice bowls vs. pitas and the rice bowls here are fantastic. The ingredients are well balanced and this is one of the few places in the area that actually stacks sliced meat on a roasting spit - vs. the processed meat log a lot of other places used. It's a world of difference and this place does it right.
As I crested the hill up from Lawrenceville into Bloomfield ... winded, disoriented, hungry ... would there be a solution to my internal fatigue? The answer was a resounding yes, as I saw off in the distance parked in front of Trace this chariot of stacked meat and zatar. The workers warm and friendly, and with a smile let me know all would be ok, as they overstuffed my Pita and sent me on my way. My faith in the possibility of brotherhood restored--what only a well spiced shawarma can provide.
