This place has a lot going for it. There’s a lot of space, and it’s used very well. I love the way all of the equipment is organized and how easy it is to find the right equipment. However, there is one huge downside: instead of each machine having their own towels and spray bottles, there are spray bottles and paper towel dispensers scattered throughout the gym, which is a huge contrast to the hand dryers that are in the bathroom for the purpose of being more environmentally friendly. Also, it’s insanely inconvenient, and because of that, a lot of people won’t even bother wiping down the equipment when they’re done, which isn’t good, especially during flu season. If that issue was resolved, I would easily give this 4 stars, maybe even 5.

The newly opened Planet Fitness Macedonia is the modern gym/workout environment you’ve wanted locally. This location has convenient highway access (271 northbound is 2 minutes away). This Planet Fitness is clean and welcoming - staff is friendly, and includes certified trainers.  Highly recommended!

Worst planet fitness I’ve ever been to. I’ve been to multiple planet fitness locations and have always had great experiences except for at this one. The timers for the circuits are set up backwards so half the time I have to look behind me to know when to stop and they already have equipment that is “out of order”. What is the point of being a black card member when at THIS location, they make it so difficult to use the tanning facility? No other location I know of has such crazy tanning rules! And how can they call themselves a “24/5” when their hours are 5am mon-9pm fri? I’d rather drive 20 extra minutes to the Solon location where I can go whenever I want and tan whenever I want!

Nice equipment and has a lot of space so it’s not overly cramped like the other Planet Fitness I used to go to.

It's nice and clean but it's not 24 hours so I'm limited to when I can go which sucks, so I'll go to solon. That's the only thing I hate about this one is its not open 24 hours.
