Price is right. Cardio and machines are up to date. Showers are nice. The hours they are open is great. I am also a member at the Huntington Ymca because there are a few other extra things they provide but I am very pleased with being a member at both establishments and I wish them the best.

Very clean with no smell, and the environment is well-lit. All of the equipment has its own personal television. The showers are cleaned multiple times daily, and the locker room is very nice also.

The following was actually written as a response to a friend in Facebook when asking about planet fitness. Figured it may be useful for people on here too. A lot of "gym people" hate it because they think it is too restrictive. I'm not going to lie- there are some times I want to scream or moan or something similar when pushing hard at the end of a run on the treadmill and you just aren't permitted to do that. I'm not really a weight lifter (read: I'm super NOT strong) but I can imagine a grunt would be helpful there too. I guess in that aspect they expect you to be a little more restrained. But overall I really like the atmosphere. You aren't allowed to dress too skimpy or showy (although some girls still push that). They have a 30 minute circuit in the back that has some weights and step exercises that, if you apply yourself, I find to be a satisfying supplement to a quick treadmill run. I've never taken advantage of it but they also have a personal trainer that can help you design a workout regiment. Plus they have yummy tootsie rolls! (Both classic and purple). Supposedly there is pizza on Wednesdays (I know. Weird choice for a gym) but I've never seen it and I think it's a lie. 😡 But that type of thing MIGHT be one of its biggest downfalls. It may be "too relaxed" and easy to take it too easy there and not get results. I mean come on! You're surrounded by pizza and candy for goodness sake! But ultimately they have a great spread of well kept equipment from cardio to machines and free weights and medicine balls etc. You definitely can get results there (there are tons of cut dudes and chicks there)- you just have to pressure yourself to do it. The atmosphere won't help you there. And last but certainly not least- the price is super right. :)

Excellent place to work out !! The staff is really helpful and I don't feel judged at all . It's a good environment and really clean !
