I love Planet Fitness. This particular location is in such a great spot. It was a pleasant walk from our hotel near Illinois and State Street, even very early in the mornings. It wasn't busy at all on the weekday mornings we visited 5AM, and wasn't too busy on the weekend, but definitely had more members working out at 7:30AM on a Saturday. The equipment is mostly maybe all Cybex from a few years ago, not the newest, but clean and in working order. It's a smaller gym, but has a mezzanine level with more resistance machines and nice views of the city.

So we are in chicago for a few days and need something better then the gym at our hotel. So we stopped in here to do a little workout. It was okay but very small compared to most planet fitness we’ve been to. It was clean but again not as clean as others gyms and usually the staff is very friendly and happy to greet you when you walk in. Nothing from this staff. And it was hotter inside then outside. Very uncomfortable

I highly recommend checking this 24 hours a day, Streeterville place out; organized, clean environment, well-kept, two floors of equipment. When in town, my weekday mornin’ visits 2 AM. ~ This is a place that will help you get stronger, healthier, and more confident in your body and yourself..!! ~ Amazing staff members; Nicole and Rashad, they’re ever present in the morning to provide whatever your needs, very polite and knowledgeable with their professional attitudes. ~ Affordable membership cost. — Anton Jones

I've been to probably 30 different PFs around the country.  This is at the bottom. The good - It's relatively clean, a decent location, and relatively well maintained. The bad - It's the smallest PF I've ever been to. The ugly - A bunch of self absorbed 20 somethings spending far more time on their phones than working out. One used an incline bench to rest between sets.  15 minutes without ever using the bench for exercise.  Another person did a total of 3 sets using a bench during a time that I did 16 sets. The unacceptable - The manager didn't get his name - long hair, untidy, unpleasant disregarded my feedback that as a customer, I care less about dust and more about whether staff was watching guests to ensure others had access to the limited equipment.  Never acknowledged my concern.  Said nothing about speaking with staff.  Just stared at me and said "uh huh".  Then went back to his cell-phone.

Looks clean. Ton of equipment and  machines! Be responsible and wiped down the machine you use!  You never know, be safe, and stay healthy. Don't  let all that hard work be wasted! Your health is worth the effort! Okay, mom's done.

Absolutely love this gym! They’ve made so many great improvements over the last year and have some really great and unique pieces that make training a lot more fun and efficient.

I had to move out of the country due to my visa. I called them to cancel my membership and they told me I had to either come in person or send a postmail to cancel my membership. I obviously cannot come in so they wanted me to spend $60 to send a postmail to cancel my membership. It's frustrating how easy they make it for you to sign up online, but if you cancel you have to come in person and fill forms. Such a terrible experience

Awesome group of friendly, professional staffers. Has great staff and just a well all around gym. You should check it out sometime.

I would definitely recommend visiting any gym you are thinking of joining before actually getting a membership. You want to gather how you feel in the atmosphere. I requested a tour of the gym, which I will admit it isn't the biggest gym, but it is a solid place to work on your fitness goals. Maintain your expectations. This gym has a good atmosphere, clean equipment, decent staff, and the people here are just working out nothing more, nothing less.

Amazing gym! Super clean! The owner is such a humbling man. Very informative and extremely welcoming. 10/10 definitely recommend!
