My family and I purchased a used 2022 Polaris RZR XP4 from Planet in June of 2023 with 1,100 miles. I was assured that this was “a solid machine” without issues as it was owned by Polaris its whole life and used as a dealership Demo. It’s also never had any repairs other than general maintenance. About 1 month after purchase we noticed a small bit of oil on the bottom of the skid plate below the engine. After a bit of research, i found out that the outer crank seal  was likely the cause. I called planet and asked if the third party warranty that i purchased would cover the repair and was told that seals are not covered on used machines. However, if there were other issues that caused the seal to go bad, it may be covered. I was told it would be about $1500 to fix the seal but I would be responsible for the cost if no other issues were present; Their service department and I went back and forth a few times regarding the repair as I didn’t feel that it was fair for me to have to eat the entire cost of the repair on a machine that I only had for a month. A machine that I was assured was perfectly fine, which was clearly not the case. I contacted the warranty company to confirm what would  be covered, and they confirmed that the seal would not be covered, nor would the cost of any diagnostic work. After a month of no riding we decided to ride for the summer and monitor the seal as well as the oil level, then I would fix the seal myself the following spring. Now begins the fun part. Fast forward to May of 24’ and lots of research on what exactly this repair would entail, what issues to look out for, and what parts I needed to replace; I began the repair. As soon as I removed the clutch cover I could tell that this machine had been worked on before as the outer ring where the crank sticks out of the machine was heavily scarred all the way around. After hours of carefully working the seal out, the full extent of the damage was revealed. Heavy gouges all around the outer ring as well as the inside of the seal seat. I immediately called Planet and asked them to dig through any and all maintenance/repair records they may have. They replied “all we did was put a battery in it when we received the machine. We don’t know what work could have been done at the dealership prior to us.” I asked if there was anyone who could find any additional information, they said someone would get in contact with me, which no one has yet. I continued the repair by cleaning up the gouges as much as possible with very fine emery cloth to give the seal the best chance possible at seating and creating a good seal. Unfortunately the machine started leaking again after 1 week due to the prior damage. Would not, nor will I buy from these guys ever again, they have been incredibly unhelpful and untrustworthy. I am now stuck with a machine that continues to leak oil and I will likely have no choice but to bite the bullet and have a major repair bill to fix the damage that was done. BUYERS BEWARE!!

Bought 2021 Indian Chieftain Limited. Trade in was smooth and very accommodating Talked with Jodi.  Excellent service. Jodi would call when she said she would.  Always answered calls. Watched her have several customers at one time  but made you feel like you are the only customer.  Did everything you asked for.  Above and beyond in all aspects of the experience she very friendly and makes you feel like family.   Every one at the dealership is awesome, efficient and worked as a team.  Never felt abandoned they kept you up to date on all points of the sale. I would highly recommend Planet Power Sports.  Will definitely buy from them again.

I was really happy Jodi was able to get me a kids sled.  My daughter asked for one for her birthday.  I thought it would be hard to find one in the spring but Jodi came through.  This is my second unit from her.

Purchased a Sportsman 850 Ultimate Trail, the experience was great, Austin was my sales person and he was everything I would hope for from a salesman, professional and quick to respond, best price I found, happy to make the 2 hour drive for, other shops closer to me were willing to “mach or beat that deal” after they contacted me again I told them I’m all set, he gave me a good price without the need for haggling. The sales manager was great too, gave me great deal on accessories and extended warranty. I would make the drive again for great deal and a pleasant atmosphere in the shop.
