Stir fried wild size rice noodle with chicken was decent. I wish the noodles could have been different, but my girlfriend liked it more than her food. She ate half of mine lol. Pumpkin curry w/ shrimp is what she ordered.

A nice, sit down place that serves a good curry and noodle. Nothing amazing, but still good for a lunch or dinner with a friend.

We stopped here more than 20 minutes before their posted opening time. Before I could get back in the car, an employee just arriving for work offered to let us in before they opened. The food was great, as usual and the service was outstanding!

The curry salmon was great, the red curry did not overpower the delicacy of the salmon. The calamari was crispy and not rubbery! I really like this place!

If you're looking for good Thai food in the Salmon Creek area this is your only choice, and it's not a bad choice. You'll be disappointed if you enjoy the more hole-in-the-wall Thai, Korean, and Vietnamese restaurants in pockets of Portland and even East Vancouver. Planet Thai is not an "experience," but the food is good and I'm glad it's in the neighborhood. The upscale strip mall location I think is the reason prices tend to be higher than you expect. Still, the curries are rich and flavorful. The noodle dishes also are full of flavor although they can be greasy. If you find the food a bit bland you can ask them to spice things up when you order. They use a "5-star" scale, where 5 stars is the spiciest. A "4" is good for me although the spice level varies depending on the cook. We only order take-out from Planet Thai and with three dishes and pot stickers we walk out paying about $50. I wish I could give it 3.5 stars but gave it 4 because I think it's better than 3.
