The customer service from the Hennepin County Libraries is terrible. I placed a transit request two weeks ago for a couple of books and it still hasn't arrived. I called both the library the books are coming from and the one that they're going to. Neither one could tell me what was going on and all anyone could say was "it takes at least a week for a transit request". That disclaimer should be placed online (which is where I made the request). Now the books are in limbo somewhere and I won't have them in time to finish my paper. If I had known it takes this long for a transit, I would have just driven to Minneapolis and picked the books up. Two weeks for transit? What a joke! My campus library gets transits in two days! I just wish the books I had needed had been available in my canpus network. I don't ever plan on dealing with the Hennepin County Library system again. If I need books, I'll look to Anoka County, which is where I need to go since my books are stuck in limbo with Hennepin County.

I love going here, it has awesome variety and kind staff and it's just so easy to do things there . Really bright and comforting atmosphere .

Wonderful library. Staff is very kind and helpful. Very modern. Been going there for years (before the renovation and currently). YA novels are abundant. Areas are clearly marked. Not a lot of book clubs for older teens, though.

This is a very well-organized and brightly lit library. The staff are very helpful. I enjoy using this library for all of the resources they offer, like a color printer, scanner, fax machine, and study/meeting rooms.
