My family has a great relationship with PNC, with numerous savings and checking accounts between all six of us (4 kids). Because of this, we end up at the bank every week, sometimes multiple times a week to make changes to our accounts, deposit and withdraw, and perform other actions. The majority to the time we are met with professional tellers and bankers whom we have come to know through our frequent visits, and they are willing to provide guidance and help through their expertise. The bank is especially busy on Fridays, but is mostly an in-and-out trip without a long wait. Personal bankers and tellers alike have always been helpful, making this our favorite local PNC location.

I opened my first checking account at pnc bank when i was 14. My first job was kings I was there only a few months. Now I just turned 35 in October and when I got my bonus check at Christmas this year I scanned it from my phone and it went in and cleared. I went to the bank to withdraw money and they have me issues. First my signature didn't match what they had on file, and I was asked if I still worked at kings. I have worked for 4 other companies including current. I Had my license which was just renewed 2 months prior, my pnc bank card. Nope I was told I can go to the atm and take it all out? Stupid. I had to sign my name as I do now and it had to go downtown and be approved. I've never not used pnc and how well are their records if my last signature is from 21 years ago. I never had any issues with the other pnc banks in bridgeville.

I'm ready to share to the world how HORRIBLE OF A BANK PNC REALLY IS!!! About 3 or so weeks ago, I went to the PNC bank located in Bridgeville, PA. My account was overdrawn and I needed to get money in the bank ASAP. I sold clothes to Plato's Closet so I would have enough cash to cover my funds plus other bills I needed to pay. Now, before I get into the horrible part, let me tell you a little about myself. I am 23 years old and I am a full time college student at WVU. I also work a full time job at the Platos Closet in Morgantown. So on top of taking 12 credit hours, I am also working 30+ hours a week so I am able to live somewhat on my own. I work extremely hard for my money and will do whatever I can (and yes even sell my clothes) to make sure I have money in my account for my needs. Anyways, I went to the bank. Now I have been using PNC for 5 years now. I loved the bank SO MUCH I even got friends and family to switch their banks to PNC. My favorite feature was the drive up ATM deposits. I have never had a problem with them, and I always relied on them so much... FIRST MISTAKE. Now as most of you PNC users know, the machine counts the money for you. I have never had a problem before so I just put my card info and money in like usual. I deposited around 115.00 worth of cash into the machine. Straight hard cash. The machine counted the money and took a long time to show the screen of how much money I had. Then, the machine froze, went to a temporarily out of service screen, and then after a minute or so went back to the home screen. After sitting there for a while tapping on the machine and wondering what the heck is going on, I checked my virtual wallet to only found out the machine did not credit my account for MY MONEY. I hurriedly RAN into the branch and went straight up to the guy to tell him the machine ate my money and I don't know what to do. I was very concerned about this matter. The guy told me to sit and the next consultant will be with me when they can. In the meantime, the guy asked me if the machine spit my money back out and I said no, but I did drive away to come in here? He hurriedly ran outside and said that the money was not there. As I waited, I over heard the same guy tell the women that the ATM deposit (inside the branch) was not working. I thought that was strange, but I just waited until I could see the lady. I saw the lady and explained to her what happened. She said I had to dispute it and they will investigate the machine... She credited me my money and that was the end of it..... A week ago I received a letter from them saying they found NO ERROR on the machine. Not only did they find no error, they were going to take MY MONEY away from me! Ok.... so I called the bank every single day to figure out what the heck was going on. Every single person told me something different and they refused to give me MY MONEY back. They sent in another dispute and had to wait for that to come back before they can credit my account again. Today before work a lady called me saying that they found no error.... again. When I asked her if they looked at the cameras, she said NO. So, what did they even look at???? What did they even investigate? What happened to MY MONEY?! I have never in my life been this angry before. A bank is suppose to keep YOUR MONEY SAFE. They are suppose to be trusted with your funds... They have done NOTHING but take advantage of ME. Well PNC, I hope you like law suits because I AM NOT going down without a fight.
