I would not recommend anyone to use PODS service. I am in Houston area and we just hit by the storm, 1/3 of Houston was flooded. Anyway, I order the container and it got delivered on schedule. I had full intention to use it but then we hit by the storm and the container got flooded along with my house. I called them and told them the container has water damage and I can’t use it anymore, and due to flooded road they cannot deliver any replacement containers. Finally after couple of weeks they were able to pick the empty container. I called them and asked for a refund because I couldn’t use their service and there answer was that we cannot refund the money since you did not cancel the server prior to 48 hours. I explained to them that this not a normal cancelation, my house and the container got flooded and the response was, well this is nature disaster and it is no bodies fault. I was very disappointed with their lack of understanding and not able to accommodate their customers who are going through some tough time.

This was the best way to move for us! We didn't want to pay the big bucks for a moving company but we didn't have an entire day or two at one time to rent a truck and move it all. The service was great, drop off/pickup/re drop was all done exactly as we had asked and they were very prompt with their "timing windows" that they gave us. If we ever move again, we'll definitely use PODS!

I WILL NEVER USE PODS EVER AGAIN! If you need a pod go with pack rat. Everything was damaged in my pod and I was also charged 182$ a month after my pod was dropped off. I will say they refunded my money but they messed up and had I not had enough money that would have been a whole other issue! You will never be able to get ahold of the local pods, it's always someone from corporate... and the worst customer service. NEVER AGAIN. USE A DIFFERENT COMPANY

Terrible. I logged on and then called the correct number of days ahead of time to request my POD and was told that they were too busy and unable to bring me my POD for another 3 weeks. This is B.S. and they are charging too much to boot. DO NOT USE.

I love this company. PODS is all about convenience and the customer experience. My family and I could pack the POD at our own pace, located only a few steps away from the front door. When it was full, I simply made a phone call for them to pick up the POD. PODS Customer Service was awesome. If I had to change my move date, ask a question, I simply made a phone call or got on their website. Their website told me everything I needed to know during this time. I would definitely use them again and I've recommended them to my family and friends. Jackie Mitra
