Point Pleasant Community Baptist Church:A Light of Faith, Hope, and Love

Mission: Point Pleasant Community Baptist Church seeks to be Christ’s hands, heart, voice, feet, and mind, reaching out in God’s Spirit and energy to offer God’s love to this community. PPCBC will be a resource for meeting this community’s spiritual needs. We will be open and welcoming to everyone, offering support, healing resources, and referrals. We will offer various forms and times for prayer and worship, community fellowship, and educational opportunities.

Mission

The following vision statement was adopted by the congregation:
One Church - One Community - One Calling

Point Pleasant Baptist Church is a community of many generations called to bring individuals to Jesus Christ through worship, ministry, evangelism, fellowship and discipleship.
Five purposes of the church:
1. Love the Lord with all your heart (worship)
2. Love your neighbor as yourself (ministry)
3. Go and make disciples (evangelism)
4. Baptizing them (fellowship--bring them into the body)
5. Teaching them to obey (discipleship)

Products

Sunday School for all ages; Children's Sermon/Messages, Monthly Missionaries from American Baptist Women's Ministries; seasonal events such as--Folk/Rock concerts set in a coffee house environment, Easter and Christmas cantatas, Maundy Thursday and Christmas Eve evening services, Live Nativity, Trunk-n-Treat, and many more.
