Access to the grounds of the lighthouse is restricted to guided monthly tours. It's designated as federal property. Still, the area is excellent since you can park for free at the Interpretive center next door and enjoy walking along the fenced cliff's edge.

Beautiful place with an amazing view of the ocean. A must go place if you are visiting LA or Long Beach.

Awesome place to see grey whales migrating in winter. Clean restrooms, helpful staff, small museum. In season you will meet like minded, knowledgeable whale watchers. Free parking, wheel chair access.

I love this place alot😍. Has a amazing view! Nice place to come and relax and forget about problems or negativity. *You encounter with nice people but also racist people.

Do yourself a favor and take beautiful calming walks along the bluff's edge and bring your dog! Watch the whales
