So good! Great lunch spot! Fast, easy and all fresh ingredients! You pick a bowl or burrito and you can add toppings of your choice!! I ordered the Umami Tuna poke and it was so yummy! It was a savory sauce & you can add toppings if you would like. All the toppings looked so fresh. Next time I would not get the fried garlic crisps just not my preference. My only other criticism is that some of the tuna pieces did have too much of the white steaks that make it chewy… was not a fan of those! But overall great lunch location! Parking: Great, easy, free parking at the parking lot for Safeway! Park near the walk way to Bellevue Way, and you will pop right out near Pokeworks! Wheelchair accessibility: You do have to go down some stairs if you park in the Safeway garage. Dietary restrictions: You can add or change the bowls to you liking! They make it right in front of you, and you can customize the bowls or burritos.
TL;DR: they were out of several items midday on a Sunday. Parking: street side or garage. Atmosphere: feels like a Chipotle but for poke. Menu: posted on the back wall, pretty straightforward. Service: go and start your order on the left and work your way down to the register, pay, seat yourself, bus your own table. #4 Yuzu Ponzu Salmon: salmon was good but pieces were on the small side and there wasn't very much of it. Nothing really wowed me about the bowl to be honest. They were out of green onions. Miso Soup: not too flavorful, missing the green onions and tofu was sparse. They have a miso soup dispenser that dispenses the broth and all they do is add seasoned and tofu into it. But they were out of seaweed and green onions. Coco Mango Haupia: it was out when I was there. Apparently it's only made once a week or so by an outside vendor and when it's gone, it's gone. It's not made in house so it's not guaranteed that you get a fresh one made that day. Drink fountain is closed but their flavored teas are open. I recommend 3/4 lemonade with 1/4 hibiscus tea.
I went there for a work order of over 10 entries, I forgot to call ahead for the order, but their was an employee there named James that went above and beyond to service my entire team, and got our order done on time. He got the order the done FAST!!! And on top of that, the Serrano aioli was fire in glad he recommended it!! Amazing work! I’ll be back soon!!
Food quality was good. Portions are extra small, had to ask for extras. The taste was there for sure, prices aren’t unreasonable.
Please has gone downhill quick. Small portions, old fishbased on its color musubi purchased today was the last straw. Nasty, old, musubi. They used to have a freshness date on them, now no date wonder why..sticker ripped prior to purchase. Management needs to change. Starts from management. Employees not trained.
I’ve been going to this place before pandemic. And I’m sad to say that this place has changed a lot.. sizes became extremely small, like the other reviewer said. I ate and I’m still hungry and I don’t eat a lot. When they’re scooping your protein, they just don’t fill it in therefore is like 6-8 small pieces per scoop. Very frustrating and I’ll definitely won’t go back. Whoever is answering the reviewers, don’t send us a ticket number, but instead listen to your costumers because your business will be shut down soon because of your careless behavior. Or maybe this is what you want?!
old ingredients, would not recommend. fish and rice felt like they’ve been out sitting uncovered for a very long time - dry and not easy to chew. will see how stomach reacts in a day…
Update 12/26: My card was fraudulently charged by this location and after repeated phone calls and emails they did nothing to rectify the situation. I had to get a new fn card... I'm never coming back! Have been coming here at least once or twice a month since moving to WA. Oddly I started to come back because the cookie was so good. Lol...Usually only order the same poke items each time so haven't tried anything else and that's fine. I definitely take advantage of the membership option to earn rewards. Staff is friendly though it seems they are short staffed as some of the younger folks left..It would be nice if they were in Redmond.
Been here a few times and always opt to build my own bowl. The kale noodles are great alternative to rice. They seem to skim on the fish but with all the other toppings added it makes a great bowl. If you're on a budget, be sure to double check with options are extra cost other wise it's a great filling meal for $10~ Edit: 8/1/2020 Recently picked up an online order and the worker was not taking proper food safety precautions preparing our online order. One worker did not have their mask covering their nose. Many customers in store were also not properly wearing their masks and drinking beverages while in store. I won't be ordering from here in the future.
Fair food but really bad experience. We went this place 11:30 Saturday morning but they had very few protein to choose compared to what they showed in pictures; only tuna, salmon, tofu, they didn’t even have spicy tuna or shrimp! We went there for the mashed fish but apparently, we were disappointed. I’m not sure if that’s because it’s too early or not, even it’s early, as u open the place u should provide at least shrimp! Meanwhile the dude working there seemed to be suffering a grumpy morning. He had zero patience when we asked about the missing items and was not polite at all. I would suggest if you are not comfortable with morning work, just change the shift please. Btw, the “ask for tip” sign at the checkout shouldn’t be there unless u are confident that u have a good service, thank you!
