A family tradition for years. Even as a college student I still go every year to show a newcomer the site. They've expanded with real rock climbing and a new sugar house. The caves are just incredible. Take the time to read every sign because the history is amazing. Even if you don't enjoy small spaces it's still a great place. There's a nice nature walk around away from the caves. Kid friendly for sure.

I usually heavily respect this establishment, but i recently viewed their website and found out that they removed the picture of me in the caves circa 2007. SOMEBODY BETTER FIX THIS. I WANT TO SEE MY FACE ON THE SITE. This review can be changed once I am contacted and my picture is re-uploaded. If not I could sue as my permission was not asked to put the picture up in the first place. I was 5 but still. I was the young boy in the tye-dye shirt and I want it back up. Thanks!! LOVE the caves!! edit: I spend my money here every year please do this, I was appalled to find out it was removed.

All my family members loved here, even it was 2014. It was great experience to climb and crawl between beautiful rocks and caves. Some animals near the entrance(deers, i remember) attracted my kids. Old fashioned maple syrup house also worth to look inside. Wanna be there again.

Can't remember the admission fee I guess It was about $10 per adult. Great place to bring your kids, date or just to see it especially during summer - perfect place to cool off. Caves itself are cool. Lot's of options where to go or crawl. Parking lot, petting zoo, gold mining, rock climbing, little hike with educational boards. Visitors centrum / shop. Restrooms.

This was excellent! My family and I had a blast at the Polar Caves. There are animals you can feed, a gorgeous and expansive rock garden, very impressive climbing walls, and the caves themselves. One caveat, these aren't some extensive subterranean cathedrals filled with stalactites/stalagmites. They are glacial caves that require you to squirm and climb, which is amazing in its own way and GREAT FUN! The grounds are immaculate and well cared for, the staff are friendly and personable, and the gift shop is perhaps the best I've seen in NH. There was a wide variety of QUALITY mementos at very reasonable prices! I got a beautiful stone carved whiskey tumbler for only $8! We spent a week in the White Mountains and did all the big name things. The Polar Caves are among the top memories of our time there. I can't recommend them highly enough.
