The Norwich Police Athletic League is a youth athletics and activities organization run by a group of dedicated volunteers.
The Norwich Police Athletic League, Inc. (PAL) is a non-profit corporation (EIN 06-1374407) that organizes and conducts youth sports activities. Norwich PAL has been active in the community for over 20 years and have had thousands of children go through our programs.
The PAL philosophy can be simply stated:
The primary objective of PAL sports is to teach youngsters to engage in clean, fair competition that promotes individual character, sportsmanship and teamwork.
We presently operate four sports; soccer in the Fall, basketball in the Winter, soccer and baseball in the Spring. There are typically over 1,300 children involved, from 5-14 years of age.
An important part in defraying the cost of running these programs comes from sponsor contributions. For this reason we ask you to consider a $250 season sponsorship, or a $600 annual sponsorship. Local businesses have been very supportive, mainly because they see their contributions as a positive and tangible way of building tremendous good will in the community.
It has been our policy to identify our season sponsors by placing company names or logos on the hats and shirts of one team in the season of their sponsorship. We have been identifying our annual sponsors on four teams, usually one in each sport over the course of a year. Please forward any requests you may have regarding identification for a particular sport or team and the design you would like displayed along with your check to our P.O. Box address. Forwarding your design in electronic form (.tiff file format) would be appreciated but is not necessary.
