Reviews

First time here. They were pleasant and accommodating from the moment we walked in and asked to view a menu. The hostess made several suggestions of things we might like to try so we decided to sit and eat in the restaurant. The ambiance of the restaurant is adorable and you can see the Colombian influences in the decor. There are several TVs there as well as plenty or tables. Its more spacious than I had imagined when we were outside deciding whether to try it out or not.

We sat down and were greeted by our waitress within a few minutes. She was very patient and friendly. They brought ice water,  a semi-spicy green sauce, and  fresh sliced limes to the table. We shared a rotisserie chicken, yellow rice, tostones and plaintains. Everything was fresh and hot. The chicken was absolutely delicious and falling off the bone tender. I had to force myself to stop eating it. I kept nibbling here and there until we decided to pack the rest to go. I also had a mango smoothie with milk  which was perfect and refreshing. I’d return for that alone. Based on what I saw on the menu I definitely plan to come back  to try the breakfast.

Oh and I must say- customer service was awesome.  We were asked how everything was and if we needed anything more than once which was appreciated. Great spot to try if you want to try authentic Colombian food.

That one star doesn't represent my review of the food as that was good. Service was horrible and google doesn't let me leave less than one. From the moment we're seated our waitress (blonde woman) was visibly in a bad mood. Slow service and unresponsive to our requests. It was as if we ruined her day when we walked in. I'm a pretty good tipper so it hurt me to reflect my experience in her small tip. Probably wouldn't return.

The service here is exceptional. The food is less quality than Bohemia. But ok. The red snapper here was really over cooked/fried ad hard to chew. The fish stew was good. There is PORK in the beans that was problematic for us bc we don't eat it. I'll go back.

I loved them up until today. I went in person and ordered mojarra frita( fried fish) and tostones. It comes with some yuca, rice and beans. I made sure to ask the waitress which fish dodn' t taste so fishy. He said he thought it was the one I ordered. Great!! I grabbed my order and headed home after a whole day without food. To my surprise, the plaintains and the cassaba were swimming in a pool of yellow oil. It looked like old oil , to the ppint I knew right away I wasn' t going to be able to eat it. I never tasted such a fishy fish in my life. THAT WAS IT FOR ME AND POLLO MARIO.
