Very laid back place to enjoy beer and company. I personally prefer ciders and their cider is delicious too. Though the bar only sells snacks, there is a different food truck parked at Ponysaurus daily which offers variety. Though a brewery, this place is family and dog friendly - there is plenty of space on the lawn for kids to run about and be themselves. Head upstairs on the patio to watch the Durham sunset if you prefer a little more quiet and maybe bring a card / board game or two to pass time with friends.

Fantastic beer and the best beer garden I have been to. Great features (besides their beer) include ample amount of tables and seating, having a good number of umbrellas, options of both grass and patio, perfect space for a food truck or two, and built in grills. For those with families and fence around the beer garden makes this absolutely top of my list!

Great outdoor space and delicious beers!  I loved the vibe when I was here and can't wait to visit again.  Besides, who doesn't love a great beverage with a funky name?

Ponysaurus has a great variety of solid beer selections. I particularly enjoyed the Golden Rule Saison, but at $8 for a flight, it's worth trying a variety. Also, their bar snacks are too clever! $1 a scoop for Cheetos, popcorn, and bar snacks, among others. Great atmosphere outside, as well! I'll have to try their grills sometime this Fall.

Excellent beer, fantastic location, okay prices. Tons of lovely outdoor seating, and often plays host to tasty food. A welcome addition to the area!
