this place is amazing. looks just like a gas station out front but you walk inside and are met with a huge collection of craft beers. you can buy single bottles of almost anything and they have a bar with like 30+ beers on tap and outdoor patio. everyone there is super friendly and knowledgeable too. going to be here all the time now...

This is a place where you can get a great selection of beers at any time of the day....and by selection I mean, different types, different countries, as well as highly sought seasonal beers not marked up as in other Durham establishments, and brewery specials. ALL the staff is knowledgeable, and MOST of the staff is nice... All in all, here you can come and stock up, or go to the back patio and seat for a bit and wind down after a long day at work. There is a few places within one or two blocks that sell tasty food that you can bring over, and it is also dog friendly.

There's something great about this grungy little convenience cum beer store. Oh yeah, it's like a beer emporium with a huge selection where you can buy single bottles then drink them on site without paying for pretense. Love it!

Overpriced cans and bottles. We just moved from Oregon so asked about growler fill stations which are plentiful everywhere. The checkout guy could barely stop in his conversation with a woman to ring up our sale. When we asked about growler fill stations he gave a lame excuse as to why they didn't have them and then lied saying that Durham had none. We were not very impressed with the beer selection and won't be shopping there again.

The best place to get beer in Durham by far and away. That was true even before the remodel they completed in the last year, but it's even better now. Where else can you get a tank of gas, food from a local food truck, and a 4-pack of Unibroue (or the rare/craft beer of your choice)?
